Uju Nwizu

Ujuoñu (Uju for short) lives in NE Portland, Oregon and considers Nigeria, Mississippi, and New York as home. Their work currently revolves around advancing health equity via community engagement, training development and coordination, as well as policy and advocacy. Uju's work is inspired by their personal and communities' ongoing struggle with defining and protecting their holistic wellness in systems that do the opposite by design.
