Black Motherhood Unfiltered: The Realities. The Challenges. The Strength
Black motherhood is a journey filled with immense love, strength, and resilience, yet it also comes with unique challenges and pressures. In this candid and necessary conversation, Dr. Cammack and Dr. Henry will explore the realities of raising Black children, the mental and emotional toll of motherhood, and the ways in which identity, race, and societal expectations shape our experiences. As both psychologists and mothers, they will share personal insights on work-life balance, navigating judgment, building community, and prioritizing self-care. This session will provide a space for honest reflection, shared wisdom, and empowerment, reminding us that we are not alone in this journey.
